Broadband

Posted under Internet, Review

With technology ever growing, we can only expect to have the high speed data transfer that we need in this day and age. Internet not going fast enough? Try a broadband speed test  to see “how fast you can go.” Fortunately for us we have BT broadband who bring consumers like myself the lightning fast speed I need. They offer up to 8 Mb speeds for your home internet at unbelievable prices. You may choose from an 18 month contract for only £ 8.95 per month or a 3 month contract for only £18.99 a month and it even comes with a free hub. Dial up is of the past and with broadband you can get speeds up too 100 times faster! With speeds at 8Mb you will be downloading pictures, videos, and music and fast speeds and you will also be connected to hundreds of millions of people all across the globe. Experience free WiFi around your house and unlimited usage at one low monthly cost, unlike dial up. You may also get a package of Digital TV and internet in one convenient bundle.

Adblock for All Browsers

Posted under Internet

Many of heard of the most popular version of Adblock which is for FireFox. I tested this version of Adblock and to my surprise it got “most” ads yet still some came through. I am going to offer a better version of Adblock that is a “Hardcore Ad-Blocker.” This small file can block Ads for every browser you use, such as FireFox, Opera, and Internet Explorer.

Installing this will replace the HOSTS file in ”C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc” with a new file with thousands of advertisement servers. When this Hardcore Ad Blocker is installed, you cannot possibly connect to an advertisement, regardless of what browser you use, you just won’t see any advertisements anymore.

Internet Limited?

Posted under Internet

With more and more people using it every day, and colossal volumes of information being transferred every hour, the internet is growing fast, but how long can it continue to grow? There are limits to the speed and volume of data transfer that can be achieved, and when they are hit, it could well cause a huge depression in the internet, which could in turn cause what are now massive companies to fall, simply because they rely entirely on the internet to do business. Some experts estimate that the internet will only be able to cope with this level of growth for a few more years, at which point there will be periodic shortages, and a lot of the work since the .com bubble burst will be rendered worthless.
