Microsoft

Microsoft Corporation is a multinational software developer, manufacturer and licenser, based in the US, employing over 75,000 people. While they have come under much fire for the problems with their flagship operating system, Windows, it remains the dominant operating system in use in the public sector, only really losing out to Linux in the web hosting and development sector. Microsoft also created the XBOX, a highly popular gaming system, and many other lesser known products which sit at the top of their own niches in the market. With over $50bn in yearly income, Microsoft is one of the biggest companies in existence.
