Bet365 kick off their biggest ever poker tournament

In the midst of all the other fantastic promotions that are taking place at bet365 during Euro2008, you may be forgiven if you overlooked this one. It’s the biggest poker tournament that bet365 have ever run and qualifiers are starting over at their online poker room right now. The prize pool is a staggering $2,500,000 and the first prize is estimated to be around $500,000!

Players can choose many different routes into the Grand Final, which takes place on the 7th September, including re-buys, freeze-outs and single table tournaments. These qualifying tournaments start from as little as a few dollars.

There is also a heads up route into the final with the Guaranteed Heads-Up Knockout where players can buy in for as little as $5 at the first round but can also buy in at all eight levels before the Grand Final.

Martin Willis, Poker Manager at bet365, says “We know our players like the variety and aggressive style of the heads-up format. This is shown by the success of our WSOP heads-up qualifiers. So we’ve brought back the knockout to satellite into this massive event.”

So make sure you’ve booked your seat by 7th September, because that’s when the waiting will be over. When the dust settles you might just claim a huge cash prize. Take that chance and get involved: there are 2,500,000 reasons why you should. Satellites are available now.
