The concept of having a terabyte drive truly amazes me. The concept or capability of being able to store so much on a hard drive is mind blowing. A terabyte is basically 1000 gigs.  Samsungs HD1030J is claimed to be the fastest terabyte drive on the market as of now. Tests show that this drive can achieve up to 100MB/s, and thats pretty fast for the size of the drive. Samsung can achieve such speeds by high areal density.
